“Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast”, WE ARE BUD, Athens,Greece

The exhibition brings together different
practices, bound together by their insistence to venture into facets of
experience whose potential as procedural tools of grafting is often lost
between and within the lines. Grafting here suggests a creative branching of
gestures, imbued by an awareness of reciprocity that requires a certain belief
in our infinite responsibility towards the other.
Through the creation of (Im)possible worlds,
the utilisation of in-betweenness (that time-space ‘before breakfast’, where we
wake up and everything is possible) that aims towards a redistribution of
(communal) sensibility, the artists presented create the conditions for
differential positionings in times and spaces which are often held sterile and
silent.
In this work, I’ve walked the same route, that
I walk every day in my neighbourhood, in a different city. Counting my steps
and repeating them in another city opens up full of coincidences. It creates
another experience which is familiar but made up of completely new forms.
